A car carrier with a race car on top hits a sweet spot for City fans, but $29.99 for what you get here is a stretch — this one lands on the shelf without making much noise.
Is the price fair?A-Slightly over the sweet spot for what's here — not a rip-off, but not a deal either.
Will you love it?B-Fun concept, forgettable execution — you'll build it once and it'll live on the shelf okay.
Holds its value?CStandard City sets at this price rarely move the needle after retirement.

The Full Take
The car carrier format is a reliable crowd-pleaser, and LEGO® knows it — stacking a race car on a flatbed truck gives kids an instant two-for-one scenario right out of the box. The build itself is functional more than inspired, with the carrier doing its job without any standout techniques to get excited about. At 328 pieces for $29.99, the price feels just a touch high for a City set that doesn't push anything forward visually or mechanically. The two minifigs are fine — a driver and a crew member is exactly what you'd expect, nothing surprising. It's the kind of set that fills a City layout without anchoring it, dependable but not destination. If City trucks are your thing, this scratches the itch; if you're weighing it against other sets in this price range, there are tighter buys out there.
