A police dog training set sounds like a stretch, but LEGO® City nailed the concept — the agility course details and the K-9 element give this one more personality than most City sets twice its size.
Is the price fair?BFairly priced but not a bargain — you're paying for the concept, not the brick count.
Will you love it?B+The dog training premise gives it more play personality than a generic police cruiser ever could.
Holds its value?C-Retirement won't spark much secondary market heat — buy it to enjoy, not to bank.

The Full Take
Mobile Police Dog Training is one of those City sets that works because the concept is specific enough to be interesting. The agility course pieces, the police pup, and the compact mobile unit all pull together into something that feels cohesive rather than cobbled. At $29.99 it's not a screaming deal, but the play scenario writes itself — which matters more than piece count here. Two minifigs is lean, but the dog is the real star and LEGO® knows it. The build itself is breezy, nothing that'll challenge experienced hands, but the finished product has a charm that punches past its modest footprint. For a City set in this price range, landing a B+ overall means it's doing most things right.
