The Ice-Cream Shop is a charming little City corner piece that earns warm looks on a shelf — but $39.99 for 296 pieces is a tough sell when similar builds cost less. The love is there; the price tag is the problem.
Is the price fair?C-Nearly $40 for a 296-piece set — the ice cream costs less than the set about ice cream.
Will you love it?B+Pastel storefront, fun interior details, and a vibe that makes any City layout better.
Holds its value?C-Retires quietly and moves slowly — not a set that builds secondary market heat.

The Full Take
City modular-style shops live and die by their street presence, and the Ice-Cream Shop holds its own — pastel colors, a clean storefront, and that unmistakable summer-afternoon vibe. The build itself is enjoyable, with a compact interior that feels lived-in rather than hollow. Three minifigs is light, but they're well-chosen for the theme. Where this set stumbles is the price: $39.99 for 296 pieces is on the wrong side of fair, and LEGO® knows it. If you're filling out a City streetscape, the charm is real and it fits neatly alongside other modular shops. Just don't expect the price tag to feel as sweet as the theme.
