Early read · 1 review
Two vehicles for thirty bucks sounds like a deal until you realize neither one is especially detailed — the helicopter transporter is a fun City concept that lands somewhere between 'solid afternoon build' and 'forgotten shelf piece.'
Is the price fair?CThirty dollars for two builds feels borderline — the piece count doesn't stretch far enough to make it feel generous.
Will you love it?BFun for what it is, forgettable once the novelty of loading and unloading wears off.
Holds its value?C-Retired City sets at this tier rarely move the needle — don't bank on it.

The Full Take
The rescue helicopter transporter concept is genuinely one of those City ideas that looks better on the box than in person. You get two builds for the price — a flatbed truck and a helicopter — but both feel thin at 215 pieces total. The helicopter is the star, with just enough shape to read as a rescue bird, while the truck exists mostly as a delivery mechanism. Two minifigs is light for a set at this price in 2022, and the play pattern is fairly one-note: load helicopter, drive truck, unload helicopter. Kids will run through the scenario a few times and likely cannibalize it for parts. It's a B because it's competent and fun for an afternoon — just don't expect it to anchor anything.
