The Full Take
The 60312 Police Car is exactly what it looks like: a basic City set priced just barely too high for what you get. One minifig and 94 pieces don't leave much room for wow moments, and the build itself wraps up before you've settled in. The car looks fine — recognizably police, solidly assembled — but 'fine' is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Kids who love City vehicles will use it, probably combine it with bigger sets, and move on. As a standalone purchase at $9.99, you're paying a small premium for the license to call it LEGO® rather than for any standout experience. It's a gap-filler, not a centerpiece.
