The minifig haul here is legitimately stacked for a City set — nine figures across crew and passengers gives kids an actual cast to work with. The plane has decent shelf width and reads like a real commercial aircraft from across the room. But crack it open and the interior is thin: a few seats, a galley suggestion, and not a lot of building drama to get there. For $100 you'd want either a more involved build or a more detailed fuselage, and this delivers neither in a satisfying way. It's the kind of set that plays better than it builds — which matters a lot if you're buying for a kid, less if you're buying for yourself.
