There's a real tension in this little City set: the play scenario is legitimately fun — fire, a truck, a ranger, a small wilderness diorama — but LEGO® tagged it at $9.99 for 84 pieces and that's a tough ask when comparable City sets deliver far more for the same money. The build itself is quick, maybe fifteen minutes, and won't leave a builder of any age feeling satisfied with the craft. What it does have going for it is the firefighting concept, which resonates with younger kids who aren't counting bricks — they're counting flames to put out. Display collectors will walk past it; investors won't touch it. The C+ overall lands because the fun idea and the weak value proposition cancel each other out, leaving a set that's fine as a gift impulse buy and basically nothing else.
