Fifteen minifigs in a $40 set is not a typo — this People Pack is basically a space-themed casting call, and the roster alone justifies the ask.
Is the price fair?A+Fifteen minifigs at $40 is one of the better deals LEGO® has quietly offered in the City lineup.
Will you love it?B+No dramatic build payoff, but if you want bodies for your space base, this is the move.
Holds its value?C-Retires flat — People Packs don't tend to grow legs on the secondary market.
The Full Take
People Packs exist for one reason: to populate your City layouts, and this one delivers fifteen characters for $40, which is a genuinely rare density for the price. The space research theme gives the crew a cohesive look without locking them into a single build context — astronauts, scientists, and ground crew all cross over naturally. There's no dramatic architecture to assemble here, just clean accessories and a lot of personality per dollar. The build itself is light, but that's the point; you're buying a cast, not a set piece. Where it stumbles is on the back end — People Packs don't tend to hold value after retirement, so if you're buying this as anything other than a collection addition, recalibrate. At its MSRP, though, this is exactly the kind of set City builders circle back to years later wishing they'd grabbed more of.
