The Full Take
The 2019 Fire Station is a comfortable, familiar City build — garage doors, a fire pole, a rescue vehicle, the works. It hits every beat you'd expect from a fire station set, which is both its appeal and its ceiling. Four minifigs feels thin for the price point, and at $69.99 this one was always going to be a tough sell against the competition in its own theme. The build itself is pleasant without being memorable — nothing technically surprising, nothing that'll make you stop mid-build and appreciate a clever solution. Kids who are into City emergency sets will find plenty to play with here, but the price grade is an F for a reason: LEGO® stretched this one beyond where the content sits comfortably. It's not a bad set — it's a fairly average set wearing an above-average price tag.
