The Full Take
The concept here is genuinely fun: thieves rappelling down a glass tower, a chopper on standby, a submarine escape route. City sets don't always swing this hard on storytelling, and for that Diamond Heist deserves credit. But 400 pieces at sixty bucks is a tough sell when the builds themselves feel thin up close — the skyscraper facade is more suggestion than structure, and the sub is tiny. Four minifigs help sell the scene, and kids will run this scenario on repeat, but display collectors will clock the gaps fast. The price is where this set loses the argument; everything else is at least trying.
