The Ski Resort is one of those City sets that gets the concept exactly right: varied terrain, a working cable car, a cozy lodge, and enough characters to actually populate the whole thing. The build sprawls in a satisfying way, and the snow-sport aesthetic gives it a seasonal charm most City entries don't bother with. Eleven minifigs is a strong headcount — the mountain feels alive rather than empty. Where it stumbles is the price. At $89.99 this asks a lot for what is ultimately a mid-complexity build with modest display ceiling. The techniques are competent but not memorable, and nothing here will change how you think about LEGO® building.
