A big rig hauling a jet engine sounds cooler than it looks — 310 pieces at $30 is just too much ask for what's a pretty thin City playset.

The Full Take
Heavy Cargo Transport has a solid premise: a flatbed semi hauling an oversized jet engine with a police escort feels ripped from a highway closure you'd actually slow down to watch. But LEGO® stretched that premise thin. The build is straightforward, the parts aren't particularly interesting, and the set doesn't do anything a cheaper City truck set doesn't already cover. Two minifigs for this price range stings a little too. On the shelf it reads as 'generic City truck,' not a centerpiece. Kids who love big vehicles will get some mileage out of it, but at $29.99 this one needed more — more detail, more minifigs, more reason to exist.
