At $9.99, this little jet punches its weight — a clean cockpit, a pilot ready to fly, and just enough build to feel like something real.
Is the price fair?A+Ninety-nine cents short of ten bucks for a complete little aircraft — hard to argue with that.
Will you love it?C+Fun for a few sessions, but the play ceiling is low once the novelty of the jet wears off.
Holds its value?C-Retires without a ripple — resale is flat and shows no signs of climbing.
The Full Take
The Airshow Jet is exactly what a $9.99 City set should be: focused, tidy, and honest about what it is. One minifig, one vehicle, no filler. The build is short but the result holds its shape on a shelf or in a kid's hand without looking cheap. LEGO® City has produced far lazier small sets at this price, and this one at least commits to a coherent design. The pilot minifig is the real centerpiece — aerobatics livery and all. Where it stumbles is longevity: this thing retires quietly and doesn't appreciate, so buy it for what it is right now, not what it might become.
