Dirt road, helicopter, four-wheelers — this set throws a lot at the wall for a City police chase. The B grade says most of it sticks, even if $39.99 feels a little steep for what's in the box.
Is the price fair?C+Helicopter bumps the sticker price past where the piece count alone would justify it.
Will you love it?BEnough going on here — air and ground, cop and crook — to keep it from feeling like a one-trick chase.
Holds its value?C-Retired City police sets rarely become trophy flips; this one's no different.

The Full Take
City chase sets live or die by their energy, and Dirt Road Pursuit brings enough moving parts — a helicopter, a couple of vehicles, some rugged terrain — to feel like an actual scene rather than a prop. Three minifigs is thin for the price, and at 297 pieces you're not exactly swimming in bricks. But the off-road framing gives it a personality that standard road-chase sets lack; there's mud and grit implied in every angle. The build itself is straightforward, no jaw-dropping techniques, but it goes together with the satisfying click that keeps City sets reliable. At $39.99 it's not a steal — you're paying a bit of a theme-tax for the helicopter inclusion. Still, as a shelf-to-floor playable set it lands in solid B territory: not the best City chase ever made, but far from a skip.
