The Full Take
The Heavy-Duty Rescue Helicopter has the right instincts: four minifigs, a chunky aircraft with working features, and a small crash-scene vignette that gives kids something to actually do. The build itself is competent City fare — nothing that'll make your jaw drop, but it holds together and looks the part on a shelf. The problem was always the price. $59.99 for 415 pieces in 2017 was a stretch, and that original sin haunts the set's legacy everywhere you look at the data. The B- love grade is the honest ceiling here — kids who got it probably liked it, adults who paid for it probably winced. It's not a bad set, just a set that was priced like a better one.
