The Full Take
There's a genuine charm to the Jungle Mobile Lab's concept: scientists in the field, a kitted-out 4x4, a little folding lab setup tucked in the back. Four minifigs give kids enough characters to stage a story, and the jungle color palette breaks from the usual City grey. The vehicle itself is the highlight — chunky, purposeful, and fun to roll around. But at $60, the set feels like it runs out of ideas before it runs out of price tag; the lab portion is thin for what you're paying. It's a set that works better as a kid's toy than as a collector's piece, and that's fine — it just needs to be priced like one. A C+ is about right: likable, not lovable.
