City jungle sets from this era were hit-or-miss, but the halftrack design here is the real draw — it's a weird, specific vehicle choice that pays off in a way a generic truck wouldn't. The build itself is compact at 378 pieces, but it doesn't feel thin; the terrain accessories and cargo details fill out the scene. Two minifigs is light for forty bucks, and the value read reflects that — this is a B, not an A. Still, the set has a coherent identity: it's not trying to be a flagship, and it doesn't overpromise.
