The Full Take
The Sweeper & Excavator is one of those City sets that makes total sense as a concept — street cleaning and construction gear, kid-friendly, practical. The build earns a B on the love side, which means the actual experience of snapping it together is solid enough to hold attention. But LEGO® tagged this at $29.99 for 299 pieces and two minifigs, and that's where the goodwill evaporates — the price grade is a flat F, and it's hard to argue with that. On the shelf it's competent but forgettable; nothing here commands a second glance the way a well-detailed City vehicle can. Value retention sits at a C-, so expecting a financial upside post-retirement would be wishful thinking.
