The Fishing Boat is one of those City sets that does everything right except the price tag. It's a tight, cheerful little build — the boat has enough shape and color to feel like a real diorama piece, and the two minifigs give it a lived-in story. At $19.99, though, you're paying a City premium for a set that should have landed closer to fifteen. The build goes fast, the play pattern is narrow, and there's not a lot here to surprise a builder who's been around. That said, kids who are into nautical stuff will genuinely use it, and it sits nicely on a shelf without embarrassing itself. The F on price is the loudest thing about this set — everything else lands in the quiet middle.
