The Full Take
The Money Transporter leans on a great concept: armored truck, crooks, a getaway plan. LEGO® City has always done crime-adjacent play well, and the scenario here clicks for kids who want a story to act out. The problem is the set underneath the concept. 138 pieces at $20 means you're done building before you've settled in, and the truck itself is more suggestion than model. Two minifigs for a heist feels light — you need at least a getaway driver and a lookout before this reads like a caper. Display collectors will walk past it, builders won't find much to chew on, and the value curve has nowhere interesting to go. It's a C+ because the play idea earns something, but the execution doesn't stretch to meet it.
