The Full Take
The 2017 Police Station is one of those City flagship sets that looks right at home on a shelf but stings a little at the register. Seven minifigs, a solid multi-story build, and decent play features make for a set that kids and display folks both get something out of — but $99.99 was a stretch even at launch. The build itself is competent rather than inspired: classic City construction, nothing that'll make a hardcore builder put down their coffee and lean in. Resale hasn't rewarded patience much either, landing this one in mid-C territory for value holds. What saves it from being a write-off is that it functions well as a set — it plays, it displays, it feels complete. Just know going in that you're paying a City flagship premium for a City mid-tier experience.
