72 pieces, zero minifigs, and a D overall — this is a book with some bricks thrown in, not a set worth tracking down on its own merits.
Is the price fair?D+No retail price to judge — but as a secondhand pickup, the value case is thin regardless.
Will you love it?DA book companion with a handful of bricks isn't something you'll love as a set.
Holds its value?C-Soft — D+ territory means don't expect meaningful appreciation here.

The Full Take
Greatest Ninja Battles is technically a book product first and a LEGO® set second, which explains almost everything about why it underwhelms. The 72 pieces included are supplemental to the reading experience, not a build worth sitting down for — the build length score of 3.9 says it all. There are no minifigs, no display centerpiece, and no reason to seek this out if you already own core Ninjago sets. What you get scores a passable 5.3, but 'passable' on a bag of bricks that accompanies a kids' activity book is a low bar. Skip it as a LEGO® purchase; buy it as a Ninjago book if your kid is deep in the lore.
