A polybag that holds its value better than sets ten times its size — but 37 pieces is 37 pieces, and there's only so much magic to wring from a pod and a minifig.
Is the price fair?A+Released at a price that felt like a thank-you note — and the market agreed.
Will you love it?COne minifig and a handful of bricks; charming if you love the character, forgettable if you don't.
Holds its value?APolybags with anniversary branding tend to age well, and this one is no exception.

The Full Take
The Star Wars Anniversary Pod is one of those sets where the context matters more than the contents. Thirty-seven pieces isn't a build — it's a gesture, a collectible in plastic form. The minifig is the real draw here, and if it's a character you care about, the whole thing clicks into place. Shelf presence is modest at best; this lives in a display case or a collection bin, not on a bookshelf. The price point was generous when it released, and the aftermarket has rewarded patient holders accordingly. As a build, there's nothing to discuss. As a slice of Star Wars LEGO® history, it's more interesting than it has any right to be.
