Eight minifigs, a full airport, and an airplane — Friends sets rarely pack this much scene into one box. The fun is real; the $100 ask for 958 pieces is the only thing standing between this and a must-buy.
Is the price fair?D$100 for 958 pieces in 2025 is a hard F — you're paying a Friends tax on a set that should be $79.
Will you love it?BFull airport scene, eight minifigs, genuine play payoff — the fun is there if you can stomach the price.
Holds its value?C-Friends sets rarely command premium aftermarket prices, and an airport won't break that trend.

The Full Take
The Friends line keeps stretching its ambition, and Heartlake City Airport is a prime example — a two-structure set with a working terminal, a plane, and eight minifigs all under one roof. The play scenario writes itself: departures, arrivals, drama at the gate, the whole thing. For a kid deep in the Friends universe, this is a centrepiece, not just another building. Display-wise it's busy in the best way, the kind of set that reads as a full world rather than a single vignette. The sting is the price: $99.99 for 958 pieces is a tough sell when comparable sets do more for less. Resale is middling — Friends airport-themed sets don't exactly become grail items. Buy it because the play value backs it up, not because the math does.
