A hospital with seven minifigs and real room detail sounds like a slam dunk — until you see the $110 price tag on 1,045 pieces. The play value is there, but LEGO® is charging like this is a prestige set.
Is the price fair?FFull retail is a tough ask for what you get — this one needs a discount to feel right.
Will you love it?BSeven minifigs, multi-room play, and a theme kids return to again and again.
Holds its value?C-Middling retirement upside — Friends hospitals don't tend to be the ones that spike.

The Full Take
Heartlake City Hospital has the bones of a genuinely great Friends set — multiple rooms, seven minifigs, and the kind of scenario-building that kids actually sink hours into. The build delivers cozy interior details that the Friends line does better than almost any other theme. But $110 for 1,045 pieces is hard to stomach when comparable playsets from other themes give you more building for less money. The minifig lineup is strong and the hospital theme travels well across age groups, so the love grade holds up on its own merits. Price is just the wall you have to get over first. If it hits a sale or clearance, the calculus changes completely — at full retail, you're paying a premium that the set doesn't quite justify.
