The Ferrari name is doing heavy lifting here — strip it away and you've got a mid Technic build at a fair price that'll struggle to hold your interest or your money.

The Full Take
Ferrari 488 Pista sounds like a headline set, but the build doesn't back it up. At $64.99 for 882 pieces, the price is the clearest win — LEGO® didn't gouge you on the badge. The problem is what you get for it: a Technic car build that feels like it could carry any license and not much would change. No minifigs to anchor it as a display piece, and the finished model lacks the shelf presence you'd expect from a prancing-horse set. Long-term, Technic licensed cars are a crowded segment with so-so retirement performance, so buying this hoping it appreciates is a stretch. If you love Technic and want a Ferrari at an entry price, fine — just go in with your eyes open.
