The Stingray silhouette is unmistakable, but Technic's exposed beams make this feel more like a skeleton than a finished car — good price, middling passion.

The Full Take
There's no questioning the subject matter — the C8 Corvette Stingray is one of the most dramatic American sports cars in decades, and LEGO® leaning into it for Technic makes sense on paper. The problem is execution: Technic's functional-first aesthetic leaves the bodywork looking sparse and mechanical rather than sleek and swoopy. At $59.99 for 732 pieces it's not a bad deal in absolute terms, so the price isn't the issue. The issue is that the Stingray's whole identity is that curvaceous, aggressive body, and this build can't quite deliver that. It sits in that frustrating Technic middle ground — too complex for casual builders, not technically deep enough to thrill the gearheads. A C+ feels right: respectable entry point to the nameplate, but the set doesn't do justice to the car.
