The Toyota Supra MK4 carries real cultural weight — Fast & Furious, JDM royalty, pure 90s icon — and LEGO® knew exactly what they were doing licensing it. The problem is the set doesn't quite rise to meet the moment. At 810 pieces and $59.99, the price isn't offensive, but it's not a deal either. Technic builds of this scale live or die by their clever engineering moments, and early reports suggest this one is more workmanlike than inspired. It'll sit on a shelf and people will know what it is, which counts for something. But when the source material has this much heat, 'recognizable' feels like the floor, not the ceiling.
