$240 for a Technic motorcycle that skips minifigs, skips a real display stand, and skips any clear reason to buy it over the cheaper MT-10 from 2022. The SP badge should mean something — here it mostly means you're paying more.
Is the price fair?D+$240 for a bike this size is a tough sell with nothing sweetening the deal.

The Full Take
The Yamaha MT-10 SP is a set caught between identities — too expensive to be an easy buy, too similar to its predecessor to feel essential. LEGO® has done motorcycles well in Technic before, and the MT-10 SP has the visual bones of a sharp shelf piece, but $240 is a hard ask for a vehicle that fits in the palm of two hands. The build itself leans into realism with working suspension and a detailed engine, which is something, but 1478 pieces at this scale starts to feel padded once you're deep in the process. No minifigs is standard for Technic, but the lack of any serious display staging — a stand, a nameplate with presence — makes the finished model feel unfinished in context. There are better Technic picks at this price. This one's for the MT-10 devotee who wants the SP colorway, not the general fan looking for a flagship build.
