The Full Take
Ford only made 1,350 of the original 2005 GT, so there's something fitting about LEGO® giving this car the Technic treatment with over 1,400 pieces. The proportions land well — that flat roofline and muscular rear haunches read clearly at this scale. Under the hood, though, the engineering leans conventional: the V6 engine is a nice detail but nothing that'll make a Technic veteran pause mid-build. At $120 it sits in a fair but uninspiring middle zone — not a steal, not a rip-off, just a competent licensed set doing licensed set things. Display-wise it holds its own next to a McLaren or Corvette on the shelf, even if it doesn't dominate. Resale history for mid-tier Technic cars rarely excites, and this one follows the pattern. A solid buy for Ford fans; a lukewarm one for everyone else.
