The Full Take
The Material Handler is one of those Technic sets that sounds more impressive than it feels. The build is legitimately long — you'll spend real time on it — but when you step back, 835 pieces at $150 yields a model that looks sparse and doesn't do enough to earn that footprint. The functions work, the pneumatics are fine, but nothing here pushes the craft forward in a way that makes you stop and say something. Display presence is underwhelming for the size class, and the playability ceiling is low enough that kids will lose interest fast. The price is the loudest problem: this is an F on value, full stop, and that poisons almost every other read.
