The Full Take
El Toro Loco has decades of arena history behind it — the bull horns, the attitude, the crowd — and Technic distills that down to a pull-back racer that kids can wreck and reset in seconds. At $19.99 it's not a robbery, but it's not a revelation either. The build is short, the techniques are basic, and there's no minifig to anchor the experience. What you're really buying is the license, not a showpiece or a complex engineering exercise. For a casual fan or a young kid who loves monster trucks, there's something here, but serious Technic builders will blow through it in an afternoon and want more. The C- overall says it clearly: likable enough, but the execution doesn't match the legend of the truck.
