A hundred dollars for a Technic Batmobile with zero minifigs and a bat-wing gimmick that barely saves it — the movie tie-in premium is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Is the price fair?DMovie-licensing markup is doing the heavy lifting at this price point.
Will you love it?CThe wing gimmick is fun once, but it won't keep calling you back.
Holds its value?C-Flat resale trajectory — nothing here suggests this climbs after retirement.

The Full Take
The 2022 Batman film had a genuinely striking car, and LEGO®'s Technic take captures the brooding silhouette reasonably well. But at $99.99 with no minifigs and a build that leans more functional-gimmick than showpiece, you're paying a lot for vibes. The wing-deployment mechanism is the highlight — it's satisfying once, maybe twice, then it becomes shelf furniture. Technic fans may find the structure a bit hollow compared to flagship sets in the same price range. As a display piece it reads well from across the room, but up close the panel gaps and exposed beams remind you this was built around a function, not a form. Mid grade, mid enthusiasm — it's not a bad set, just an expensive one that asks you to love it more than it earns.
