Hovercrafts are a legitimately cool subject for Technic, and this one nails the silhouette well enough to turn heads on a desk. But at $29.99, you're paying a bit more than the set earns — the build is straightforward, the mechanisms are light, and there's nothing here that makes a Technic fan stop mid-step. The fan-spinning gimmick is cute but shallow, and the color blocking in orange and white reads 'rescue' without feeling particularly polished.
