The Race Plane exists in that awkward Technic zone where the price is low enough to seem harmless but the set doesn't quite deliver on what that price promises. At 154 pieces, the build is sparse — you're looking at a frame with wings and a propeller, not a finished model. Technic at this scale rarely has room for clever engineering, and this one doesn't break that trend. The silhouette reads 'race plane' if you squint, but shelf presence is basically zero. Kids might get twenty minutes of build time out of it, then it becomes a shelf prop nobody moves. A C overall is about right — it exists, it works, it just doesn't excite anyone.
