The 6x6 Volvo Articulated Hauler is one of those Technic sets that looks more impressive in photos than it feels at the register. The dump-bed mechanism and working steering are genuinely satisfying to operate, but $250 is a steep ask for a set that lands a C across the board. No minifigs means nothing to break up the build, and 2193 pieces of mostly structural technic beam work doesn't always keep the build energy high. On the shelf it reads as a chunky yellow truck — recognizable, well-proportioned, but not a conversation-stopper. Value retention is middling, and the secondary market hasn't shown any real love for this one post-retirement. If Volvo licensing and functional truck mechanics are your thing, this scratches that itch — just know you're paying a premium for the badge.
