The Concrete Mixer Truck does what good Technic should: the drum actually spins, the outriggers deploy, and there's enough going on mechanically to keep an experienced builder engaged through 1161 pieces. The problem is that $120 price tag sitting over all of it like a wet blanket. At full retail, the value case falls apart pretty fast — this isn't a flagship, it doesn't have Power Functions or app control, and it's not the kind of set that turns heads at twenty paces. Wait for a sale and it becomes a satisfying weekend project with real functional payoff. Pay full price and you'll spend the whole build wondering if you should have waited.
