The Full Take
The Buggy is one of those Technic entry sets that exists to get a logo in front of new fans at a low shelf price, and that's about as far as its ambition goes. The build clocks in fast, the functions are minimal, and the finished model sits awkwardly between 'display piece' and 'toy' without fully being either. For what LEGO® is asking, the value just isn't there — a few more dollars gets you something dramatically more satisfying in the Technic line. That said, the rolling chassis is solid for a younger kid who wants to push something around, and the steering linkage gives a taste of real Technic logic without overwhelming. It's not a bad set so much as an overpriced small one, and that distinction matters when you're deciding whether to add it to a cart.
