The Full Take
Technic licensed cars live or die on the build experience, and the ZR1 coasts by on the badge alone. The Corvette silhouette reads recognizable from a distance, but up close the panel gaps and hollow interior remind you what's missing. At $50 there's no room for error, and LEGO® didn't leave much to love — the build is a straight two-hour middle-of-the-road experience with nothing mechanically surprising along the way. It's not offensive, but in a theme where sets like the Bugatti and the Lambo set a standard, this one sits a tier below in almost every direction. A D+ is a fair landing for what's here.
