The Full Take
Technic sets live or die on the build experience, and Police Pursuit doesn't bring enough of either word to justify its price tag. At 120 pieces it's over before it starts, leaving you with a thin little vehicle that doesn't do much and doesn't look like much. There's no function to speak of, no clever mechanism hiding in the frame, no wow moment when it clicks together. The police theme feels tacked on — Technic doesn't need a narrative hook, it needs engineering, and this has almost none. For $19.99 you can find sets in other themes that give you more play, more build, or more shelf presence. This one lands in a no-man's-land where it's too simple for Technic fans and too bare for casual builders. Hard to recommend to almost anyone.
