The Getaway Truck lands in that awkward Technic zone where it's too small to impress and too pricey to forgive. At 128 pieces and $20, the set barely qualifies as a shelf ornament, let alone a build worth your afternoon. The truck silhouette reads okay in the box but assembled it feels skeletal — gaps and open frames that don't read as intentional design choices. There's a tow-release function tucked in here, which is a fine idea, but it's the kind of feature a kid plays with twice before moving on. For the money, LEGO® Technic has done a lot more with a lot less. Hard to recommend this one to anyone outside of a completionist.
