Technic's small sets live and die by what they teach, and the Cherry Picker is a functional little machine that shows kids how the scissor lift works — that part is genuinely cool. But 155 pieces is a short afternoon, and there's no minifig, no secondary build, nothing to extend the experience past the first hour. The price is hard to argue with at under ten dollars, and it makes sense as a stocking-stuffer or impulse grab.
