Technic sets live or die by the build journey, and this hovercraft delivers a long one — over eight hours of gearing, linkages, and mechanical problem-solving. The working fan mechanism and skirt suspension show LEGO®'s engineering at its most committed. But when you step back and look at what's sitting on your desk, the visual payoff feels thin for a $90 ask. There's no minifig, no standout display presence, and the finished model reads more 'study model' than showpiece. The 'what you get' score of 3.3 is the set's honest verdict on itself.
