BASH! is the kind of set that exists to fill a shelf slot at a price point, not to do anything memorable. The build is short, the result is small, and Technic's usual payoff — clever mechanisms, satisfying complexity — just isn't here at this scale. There's a pull-back motor tucked in, which kids might enjoy for about ten minutes, but it's not enough to justify the ask. On the secondary market it moves like you'd expect a forgotten mini Technic racer to move: sideways. The F on price is the loudest grade here, and it's hard to argue with it — twenty dollars bought a lot more LEGO® in 2018 than this.
