The 6x6 All Terrain Tow Truck has the bones of something great — six-wheel drive, a functioning crane, and enough moving parts to keep a Technic fan busy for an afternoon. But at $289.99 it sits in uncomfortable territory: too expensive to be an impulse pick, not impressive enough to be a centerpiece. The build is competent rather than clever, leaning on bulk over breakthrough techniques. Display-wise, it reads as a big yellow truck — functional, not stunning. LEGO®'s flagship Technic sets from this era (the Bucket Wheel Excavator, the Porsche 911) make this one feel like it wandered in from a tier below. A C across every read column isn't a coincidence; this set is fine, and fine at nearly three hundred dollars is the problem.
