Each day's build is a snack, not a meal — clever in miniature but gone in minutes. Fine for the holiday spirit, thin for the craft.
Is the price fair?A+A month of daily LEGO® for under $35 — that math is easy.
Will you love it?A-Charming in the moment, less so once the last door is open.
Holds its value?C+Advent calendars rarely age into collectibles, and this one won't break that trend.

The Full Take
The 2023 Friends Advent Calendar is one of those sets where LEGO® clearly wanted to make the holiday season feel accessible — $34.99 for a month of daily reveals is a flat-out good deal. The mix of mini-builds, accessories, and characters keeps kids (and nostalgic adults) coming back to the box each morning. It's not a display centerpiece and it's not going to stress-test a hardcore builder, but that's not the assignment. The Friends theme brings its warm, colorful energy to every little door, and the two minifigs add just enough personality to anchor the story. Where it stumbles is longevity — once the calendar is opened, it's opened, and the secondary market isn't exactly hungry for used advent sets. Buy this to live it, not to shelf it.
