The Heartlake City Resort is one of those sets where the price does most of the talking before you've even cracked a bag. Over a thousand pieces across a sprawling hotel layout with a pool, café, and multiple interior rooms for a hundred bucks — that's a lot of set. The Friends theme gets dismissed too often; this one has genuine architectural personality, with warm colors and layered facades that read well even assembled. Four minifigs is light for the size, but the environment they inhabit is rich enough that kids won't notice.
