Heartlake City Resort is Friends done big: a sprawling hotel, pool, and outdoor hangout that actually gives kids a lot of real estate to play across. The problem is LEGO® stretched the price tag to match the ambition without quite matching it in build quality or visual wow-factor. Four minifigs for this footprint feels thin, and the construction leans more functional than clever. Shelf presence is decent but it reads as 'large play set' rather than 'display piece,' so collectors won't be rushing for it. For a kid who's deep in the Friends universe, there's genuine fun here — the location variety alone keeps play sessions going. But at $99.99 this needed to be a slam dunk, and it lands closer to a solid double.
