Early read · 2 reviews
An airplane, a tour guide minifig, and a tiny Heartlake skyline — Friends sets don't usually swing this wide on concept, and the ambition almost lands. Almost. $29.99 for 331 pieces is where the charm runs out.
Is the price fair?DRetail is rough — you're paying a Friends tax on a concept that needed more in the box to justify it.
Will you love it?B-The airplane tour angle is genuinely fun and kids with a taste for adventure will get real mileage out of it.
Holds its value?C-Middling secondary market, middling demand — don't expect this one to move the needle after retirement.

The Full Take
The concept here is charming in a way a lot of Friends sets aren't — a sightseeing biplane with a tour guide feels like a genuine scene rather than just a building with pink accents. The build itself is light but likable, with the plane as a reasonable centerpiece and a few accessory details that give it some life. That said, $29.99 is a tough sell for what's in the box; the value just isn't there at retail, and the set doesn't carry enough visual weight to make you forget it. One minifig at this price point stings a little — Friends sets usually lean into the cast, and this one feels sparse. It grades out a C overall, which is about right: a pleasant set with a concept worth liking, let down by pricing that doesn't match the contents.
