Is the price fair?A+Forty dollars for 700 pieces in a licensed theme is genuinely hard to argue with.
Will you love it?FNo minifigs, no story, no soul — it's Hogwarts reduced to a silhouette.

The Full Take
Mini Hogwarts lands in a weird spot: too big to be a freebie, too small to be a statement. The piece count suggests ambition but the zero-minifig situation says LEGO® treated this like a promotional item that somehow got a price tag. At $40 the value math isn't the problem — the experience is. You're building a silhouette of one of LEGO®'s most iconic licenses, and when it's done it reads as a desk tchotchke rather than a display centerpiece. Harry Potter fans with the big castle on the shelf already have nothing to gain here. Newcomers to the theme deserve a better entry point. The A+ price is real, but a good deal on something you won't love is still a pass.
