Micro NINJAGO Docks had a real shot at being a charming little shelf piece for fans of the theme, and to its credit the build is inoffensive. But LEGO® left the minifig slot completely empty, which stings harder when you realize the price is already working against this set. The micro scale means playability is basically nil, and without figures there's no story on the shelf either. Ninjago has deep fan loyalty — this just doesn't give that loyalty anywhere to land. A D overall isn't a disaster, but it means most buyers will feel the regret before the box hits the recycling bin.
